Using engineering, chemistry, and creative thinking, this camp culminates into a very sweet gingerbread house project, complete with unique color mixed icing, fondant characters, and edible watercolor wallpaper. Your child will practice chemical reactions, learn about the properties of matter, and experiment with engineering and mathematical concepts through this tasty project based camp.
Activities include: Royal icing color mixing, fondant sculptures, blueprint planning and engineering practices, patterning and mathematical reasoning with candy pieces, ornament making
Camp Curbside Drop-off and Pickup: For each family's convenience, all camp drop-off and pickup will occur at the Memorial Stadium roundabout at 5th and Harrison across from MoPOP.

“Museums for all” is a nationwide initiative that aims to ensure that every family and child has access to a high quality museum experience. Families with EBT, CHIP, WIC, Provider One, or Apple Health are able to access SCM offerings at discounted rates.

Any cancellations must be made by emailing education@seattlechildrensmuseum.org with your full first and last name, camper first and last name, and session you wish to cancel. See the full refund policy listed below:
Cancel on or before Sunday, November 15, 2026: Receive a 50% refund*
Cancel after Sunday, November 15, 2026: No refund.
*All refunds do not include a $50 nonrefundable deposit that is kept by Seattle Children's Museum and used to pay for materials, educators, and resources that are used throughout our camp sessions.
